It takes a village to run a responsible rescue, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing one.
Many of our volunteers have been part of CB Rescue for years, giving their time, opening their homes, driving countless kilometres and stepping up whenever one of our dogs needs them.
This October, we are proud to recognize Denny as our Volunteer of the Month.
Denny wears a lot of hats at CB Rescue. She drives and transports our dogs, fosters, makes our CB Rescue tags, helps at events and is always there when we need an extra set of hands or simply someone to lean on.
Denny has truly been a diamond to CB Rescue. 💎
She doesn't do any of it for recognition. She does it for one simple reason: the love of the dogs.
The little girl Denny is holding above is Negrita, pictured following her eye surgery. Denny made the drive to pick her up after surgery and make sure she was safe and cared for, just one example of the many things our volunteers do quietly behind the scenes.
Negrita has received all of the veterinary care she needed through CB Rescue, including her vaccinations, dental care and eye surgery, and is now ready to move on to her forever home.
Denny, thank you for the years of driving, fostering, transporting, helping, supporting, and most importantly, loving our dogs.
Our village would not be the same without you, Denny. ❤️
