CB Rescue Foundation recognized that there is a gap in the accessibility of adopting a dog for not only senior citizens but any person that is new to Canada.
We are excited to announce two new available outreach programs for adopting a CB Rescue dog. One is to assist seniors in adopting senior dogs and one is to help those who are new to Canada who would like the companionship of a dog in an effort to ease the transition of living in a new country.
How we can help you
Our new Adoption Outreach Coordinator, Laurie Beyette, will help you fill out the adoption questionnaire, conduct a phone interview and complete a home check in an effort to find the best dog that matches your lifestyle. We want to ensure that anyone who wants and needs the companionship of a dog is not hindered by any barrier whether it is language or accessibility.
Still need help but don’t fit either category? Don’t worry, regardless if you fit these two programs, we will still help with the adoption process if you need extra support.

Senior Subsidy Program

Did you know that all adoption fees collected from every dog goes back into the rescue to save more dogs and to feed and provide all medical care for the those currently in our rescue.
