All of our dogs are fully vetted before they are adopted.
All dogs at CB Rescue are on the Natural Dog Diet for better health and longevity.
We require our dogs to participate in either puppy or obedience classes as per our adoption agreement.

Meet Velma.
Velma spent her first chapter being a mama. Now this sweet little girl is learning what it means to be loved, feel safe, and simply be a dog. ❤️ Location: Calgary
She can be a little unsure of people at first, but watching her learn to trust has been incredibly rewarding. Every little step is a victory, and as she becomes more comfortable, you get to see more and more of the gentle little dog underneath. She’s learning to relax, enjoy affection, and simply be a dog, and it really is the sweetest thing to watch. Velma would thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. She would be happy as the only dog, or she could share her home with another small, calm dog who respects her space. A busy household probably isn’t what this little girl needs. She deserves somewhere peaceful where she can settle in and know that she’s finally home. She is fully vetted and spayed. She's also had her vaccinations, deworming, microchip, health certification. 1 year old | 8 lbs | Chihuahua mix | Calgary Velma spent her first chapter taking care of her babies. Now we’d love nothing more than to see the next chapter be all about her. ❤️ |

Meet FRED!
Chi Mix (Mom is a CHi (Velma)., Dad unknown). He is 10 weeks old. FRED will come with a health check, first and second vaccines dewormer, and microchip. We will neuter him when he is older. He will need to be responsibly socialized and exercised, We are looking for a family to train provide structure and love. Puppy classes are mandatory. |

Meet Cricket.
If you've ever wondered what happens when you combine the sweet nature of a Labrador with the adorable low-rider look of a Basset Hound, you're looking at him. Location: Calgary
Cricket loves both dogs and people and enjoys being part of whatever is going on around him. He has a sweet, friendly nature and is the kind of dog that settles in nicely and simply wants to be included as a member of the family. At just 29 lbs fully grown, Cricket is a wonderful size for most homes. Big enough to join you on your daily adventures and small enough to curl up beside you at the end of the day. Some dogs stand out because of their personalities, others because of their looks. Cricket has both. His adorable low-rider build is impossible not to love, and his sweet temperament makes him even more special. Could Cricket be the perfect companion you've been waiting for? |
Gigi

Meet Gigi.
Gigi may take a little time to decide you're her person, but once she does, this sweet little girl will make you wonder how you ever lived without her. ❤️ Location: Calgary
At 7 years young and approximately 15 pounds, Gogi is a beautiful little companion with an absolutely magnificent tail! She came to CB Rescue after her owner reached out to us, wanting to make sure she found the right family rather than having her end up in a shelter. Gogi can be a little skittish when she first meets someone new and may bark when unfamiliar people enter the home. She simply needs a little time to figure out that everything is okay. Once she feels comfortable with you, her sweet and affectionate personality comes shining through. She does very well with other dogs and has also been good with children. For Gogi, though, we're looking for a nice, quiet home where she won't be overwhelmed by a lot of activity and can settle into a comfortable routine with people who understand that trust sometimes takes a little time. Gogi is fully vetted, including having had a dental, and she's ready for her forever home. At seven, Gogi isn't asking for much—some patience in the beginning, a peaceful place to call home, and people she can love and trust. In return, you're going to get one very sweet little companion. ❤️ |
Keeley

Meet Keeley.

Like any young large-breed puppy, Keeley is still learning about the world and will thrive with continued guidance, structure, and consistency. She is looking for a home that understands the importance of leadership, training, and building confidence in a young dog. Her new family should be committed to continuing her training and providing clear boundaries so she can grow into a well-balanced adult dog. To help set Keeley up for success, CB Rescue will provide her adopters with a session with one of our professional dog trainers. We also require that her new family enroll her in an obedience class to continue building her skills and confidence. Keeley’s ideal home will have:

Negrita

Meet Negrita.
Negrita has overcome a lot in her four short years, but you'd never know it from the sweet, loving little girl she is today. Her difficult days are behind her—and she's ready for the beautiful part of her story. ❤️ Location: Calgary
This little girl has come a long way. Negrita is crate trained, house trained, knows her basic commands and walks beautifully on leash. She does wonderfully with children, although we believe she would be happiest in a quieter home where she can enjoy lots of love and companionship. A single person, couple, or semi-retired or retired family could be an especially nice fit for her. We've also made sure Negrita received everything she needed before looking for her forever family. She is fully vetted and vaccinated, has had a dental, and recently underwent surgery to correct her cherry eye. She's recovered beautifully and is ready for her next chapter. Negrita has already overcome the hard part. Now she just needs someone to give her the life every little dog deserves—a safe home, a comfortable lap, and a family who will love her for the rest of her days. ❤️ |
