Santa Photo Shoot | Meet & GreetHo! Ho! Ho! Come join us on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm at The Shawnessy Barn (224 Shawmeadows Rd SW, Calgary, AB T2Y 1B3) for a wonderful day of furry fun at our CB Rescue Meet & Greet, Bake Sale and Santa Photo Shoot event.
What to Expect: 🐶 Meet some of CB Rescue’s adoptable dogs—no on-site adoptions, but plenty of chances to fall in love. 🍪 Christmas Bake Sale! Delicious holiday treats for both humans and pups. From cookies and cupcakes to homemade dog biscuits — every bite helps rescue dogs in need. 📸 Santa Pup Photo Booth! Get your dog’s photo taken with Santa in their festive gear — elves, reindeer, or ugly sweaters welcome! You’ll receive your printed photo to take home the same day. 👧🧒 Kids are welcome too! Bring the whole family for a cheerful photo with Santa and your pup — it’s a memory everyone will treasure. 🗨️ Chat with our team about fostering, adopting, volunteering 🎄 Festive Costumes Encouraged! Whether your dog is Santa’s helper, a Christmas tree, or a snowflake in disguise — bring on the creativity. Costumes are optional but highly celebrated (Prize for the most festive look!). ❤️ A Huge Thank You To our wonderful friends at Shawnessy Barn for once again welcoming CB Rescue and helping us make this holiday event a success. Last year’s Santa Photo Shoot was a heart-warming celebration filled with wagging tails, laughter, and community spirit and we can’t wait to make even more memories together this year! |

Meet & Greet
Join us on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm at Plantlife Cannabis – Shepard (5272 130 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2Z 5C2) for a spooktacular day of furry fun at our CB Rescue Meet & Greet, Bake Sale and Halloween Photo event.
What to Expect (No Tricks, just TREATS!) 🐶 Meet some of CB Rescue’s adoptable dogs—no on-site adoptions, but plenty of chances to fall in love. 🧁 Delicious Halloween-themed baked goods (human and dog treats 📸 Halloween Photo Booth! Get your photo taken with your dog in their cutest, silliest, or spookiest costume and take the printed photo home the same day! 🗨️ Chat with our team about fostering, adopting, volunteering 🎃 Costumes Encouraged! Whether your dog is a vampire, hot dog, or confused pickle—bring on the creativity. Meet & GreetJoin us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 12:00–3:00 pm at Plantlife Cannabis – Shawnessy (#224 70 Shawville Blvd SE, Calgary, AB T2Y 2Z3) for a CB Rescue Meet & Greet—a relaxed chance to say hello to some of our dogs currently up for adoption and chat with our team about the process, fostering, and how you can help. This is our second Meet & Greet with Calgary Plantlife locations—our Mahogany event last month was a great success—and we’re excited to bring more wagging tails to Shawnessy. No on-site adoptions will be completed, but meeting the dogs is the perfect first step toward finding your match.
