Testimonials
Meet Winston!
Fostering from CB Rescue has been so great and they have been really easy to deal with. Some might remember my story almost 2 years ago of our horrible experience with a rescue, we were a little turned off after that experience but WOW, when you deal with a good rescue it sure makes a difference ! |
Amazing. Supportive. Fun. Rewarding. Those would be the words I would use to describe my first fostering experience with CB Rescue.
I’ve worked with other rescue groups as a dog foster before and this was a complete 180. I went to meet Belinda and my foster dog and although he was skinny, he was so friendly and sweet. She packed us up with some brand new toys, food and a new bed and we were on our way.
It took me a few days to get used to the new feeding schedule and to read through all of the material, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very easy. Any of my questions were answered right away and Belinda checked in with us too. I love that the dogs have a report card that is passed on to the new parents. As a dog owner myself, I would want to know the small details and character of my new dog.
I can tell you Belinda treats every single dog she brings in as her own and she’s there to support you when you need it. She also takes great care placing the dogs - it’s not a first-come, first-served application process. I love knowing my foster dog is going to the best home.
Looking forward to the next foster and hope you all consider opening your home to a dog in need. It’s such a rewarding experience, especially with the right rescue group.
